Another Weekend Lost

It was beautiful fall weekend in South Dakota, or so I've been told.

I reminded myself several times last month "next trip to the hills I will stop at Walgreen's and get my flu shot". Like everything else in my life I choose to procrastinate.

I think my Blog should be called "Born 2 Procrastinate".

Anyway for me procrastination had it's price and long about the middle of Thursday night this seasons virus came knocking on my door. It is now Monday morning and I am weak but feeling alive which I honestly wasn't sure I was going to be able to say. I can truly see that as I age putting off a flu shot is STUPID and it won't happen again.

To anyone reading this immunize yourself and your children. Life is too short to lose even one beautiful weekend.

So where have you been?

Good question! My last blog post appears to be nearly a year old....that's sad. One would think, if they are following my blogs, that I am either boring or I have passed on. Well the later is not true and my life is busy but perhaps it is boring or maybe I have just not been writing about it.

I am this week hanging out in the hills. The weather has been beautiful however snow is again in the forecast for the weekend. I did manage to ride my snowmobile once this winter and with the warm weather this week it may very well be my only ride.
